IBRAHIM MUSA HAVE BEEN REINSTATED HAS KANO PILLARS HEAD COACH
WE CAN REPORT THAT THE MANAGEMENT OF KANO PILLARS HAS REAPPOINTED IBRAHIM MUSA AS TECHNICAL ADVISER.
According to the letter of engagement which was signed by the club’s secretary, Sayyadi Abdullahi, the appointment with immediate effect.
Musa was relieved of his job at the end of the 2017/2018 season when the management refused to renew his contract. The club’s Team Manager Kabiru Baleria was installed as the acting technical adviser and he was in charge of the team’s last two Nigeria Professional Football League(NPFL) matches against Heartland and El Kanemi warriors respectively.
Musa was brought back after deliberation by the club’s management who believe he still has a lot to offer.
Confirming his re-appointment, Coach Musa told SPORTING LIFE that the had receive his appointment letter on Tuesday.
For his first interview with journalist after his return was confirmed,
Musa appealed for calm among fans and players of the team while he also thank the state government and the management board of the club headed by Tukur babangida for ensuring he was back to job he loves so much.
“I thank the Almighty Allah and I am appreciating the effort of Kano State Government especially Kano Pillars management board headed by the Chairman Tukur Babangida ,” Musa told the club media.
“I appreciate what they have done to bring me back. I promise all
that I can do to ensure that Pillars do not struggle in the league.
I want to see to it that Kano Pillars finish the season higher than
they were last season where we ended in the third position and
narrowly lost in the Aiteo Cup final to Enugu Rangers. We are
trying to be number one in our group so that we can qualify for the
playoff. They are going to see a different Ibrahim Musa and not the
one that worked with Pillars before. I will be very patient and
jovial in the discharge of my duties as coach.”
